World Race for Hope 5k on New Year's Day Our friends at Waste-Free Dayton are organizing a 5k on New Year's Day in Troy, the World Race for Hope. This is the 18th year for the event, but Waste-Free Dayton has taken over the race from the previous organizer. Registration is only $25 through race day, and each participant will receive a pack of native plant seeds. Start off the new year on the right foot, and help Waste-Free Dayton create a healthier and more sustainable future. Up and Running is happy to continue its sponsorship of this event.
