Wright State University and Up and Running had their second annual indoor triathlon last Friday afternoon at the Adventure Summit.  Forty five participants competed in the treadmill run/walk for 2 miles, stationary bike for 6 miles, and 250 yard indoor swim.  Everyone was a winner!! We had quite a few first-timers, who are now ready for the great outdoors for their next triathlon.

Thank you to all those that signed up and came out for the fun of it! Another big thank you to our many volunteers that gave their afternoon or evening to help make this event run smoothly.  We could never have done it without each of you!

The proceeds from this event are being given to the local chapter of Girls on the Run, being led by Angela Lewis.  UAR will send a check for $500 to Girls on the Run as a direct result of those that signed up to participate in this event.
