The Carol Wolff 5K September 11th

Carol Wolff 5K at Wegerzyn Gardens September 11th 9am!

Join Up and Running & enjoy this women's only 5K in the beautiful surroundings of Wegerzyn Gardens.

The Details:

Flat out and back course in the Wegerzyn Park
Register at UAR or online at Sign Me Up
Registration is $12 through Sept. 4th (includes race swag)
Registration is $15 Sept. 5th-11th
Packet pickup at UAR on Friday, Sept. 10th from 3-7pm

LOLE: Play in the Park!

We hope everyone enjoyed their early morning Boot Camp in the Park with Cindy! We will keep you posted for our September 29th LOLE Meet-up Yoga Session! We hope everyone enjoyed Living Out Loud Bright and Early Today!!!

Homemade Granola:

Dry ingredients:

2 cups of oats

1 cup of almonds

3/4 cups of walnuts & pecans

1/2 cup optional pumpkin seeds or sunflower seeds or both!

Mix the dry ingredients to together than add the following:

1/4 cup canola oil

1/3 cup light maple syrup

1 teaspoon vanilla

1/2 teaspoon salt

honey to taste

The mixture should be moist. Spread on parchment paper and bake at 350 for 25-30 min, stirring occasionally for even browning. Once granola is cooled, add your favorite dried fruit: cheery, raisin, cranberry, etc. Enjoy!
