Merrell Clinic with Jason Robillard Sept. 19th 7pm Dayton

Join UAR and Jason Robillard, Merrell’s Barefoot Ambassador on September 19th at 7pm at UAR Dayton for Jason’s run form clinic and a glimpse at his very interesting & super cool life.

About Jason:

Jason is the author of “The Barefoot Running Book” (Plume 2012), owner of the Barefoot Running University website, Merrell ambassador and running coach, member of the Natural Running Center, and founding member of the Barefoot Runners Society. Jason has been published in Ultrarunning Magazine, Natural Awakenings magazine, and<>. Jason regularly runs ultramarathons and has finished races such as the Hallucination 100, Western States Endurance Run, Across the Years 72 Hour race, and the TransRockies six day stage race. Jason currently tours the country with his family in an RV to teach others about improving running form.

Jason will lead a discussion on barefoot running, minimalist shoes, and running form. We will discuss advantages and disadvantages and separate the dogma from what we know. We will also do some hands-on drills to using Merrell’s Bareform to learn to run with greater efficiency. All runners are welcome, from barefoot to the barefoot skeptic.

Please RSVP to Up and Running in Dayton at 937-432-9210.

OH and in case you were wondering, yes you can wear shoes and still attend this running form clinic!  We are excited to welcome Jason’s experience and knowledge at UAR!
