Hip Mobility/Strengthening for Runners                                     March 11th 6:30pm Dayton

Running injuries often are the result of lack of strength training and mobility exercises, poor running mechanics, overuse, and sitting for long periods of time.  This can lead to issues including Patellofemoral pain syndrome, or “runners knee,” Iliotibial (IT) band syndrome and tight lower backs.  Join Premier Health at Up and Running (6123 Far Hills Ave, Dayton, OH 45459) on Wednesday, March 11, at 6:30 pm, for an informational discussion and demonstration on hip mobility and strengthening for runners.  Learn exercises to help prevent injury, loosen the hip flexors, and strengthen the surrounding stabilizing muscles.  Presented by Brett Hoffman, MS, AT, ATC, CSCS, CES.  Brought to you by Up and Running and Premier Health.
