    Up and Running in Dayton: Women & Breast Health Mobile Mammography
    A mammogram is the best way to detect breast cancer early when it’s most treatable. Yet up to 40 percent of women age 40 and over in southwest Ohio don’t get a mammogram now. If you haven’t had your mammogram in the last 12 months, here’s your chance. You’ll experience the same quality, technology, and comfort that’s available at our breast center. Images are reviewed by board-certified radiologists from, Atrium Medical Center. No doctor’s order is needed for a screening mammogram for women 40. Who’s Eligible for Mobile Mammography? Women who: Are age 40 and older; no physician order needed Are under age 40 and have a physician order Have not had a mammogram in the last 12 months Do not have breast issues, such as a lump or discharge from the nipple area Can walk and are able to maneuver the coach’s stairs If you’ve had previous mammograms with another hospital or health system, simply let us know when you schedule, and we’ll take care of transferring your records.
