Our run/walk program is a group led run/walk interval workout that will help you train for a 5k!
5k participants should be able to walk briskly for 30 minutes prior to starting the Running 101 program.
We encourage participants to exercise at their own comfortable pace. New runners will benefit from the support and motivation of a group. Current runners just looking to get back into shape will benefit from the accountability of a group! Now, you no longer must be intimidated by running and your fitness journey!
Our Summer 101 Program will start on May 9th and will be training for the Americana 5k on July 4th in Centerville.
PROGRAM INCLUDES:
-One coached workout session per week and weekly training emails.
-Free UAR shirt and free entry into the event
-$10 off one pair of running shoes and athletic bra (Discount offered at Up and Running first 30 days)
-Time for YOU. . . to get fit, make friends, and have fun!
This program is for adults only and we cannot accommodate strollers due to the nature of the program, thank you in advance for understanding.
